Pay per render, and add a plan when you need more at once
Every account starts with $2 of free render credit. Pay per render from a prepaid balance that never expires. When you need more renders running at the same time, add a plan.
$2 free credit·studio render ≈ $0.12·estimate before every render
Your first render is on us
Check that your scene works, see what it costs and render your first images before you pay anything.
$2
Render credit at signup
Enough to iterate on previews and finish with production-grade stills. No card required.
$0
Compatibility checker
Runs entirely in your browser. Point it at your real scene before you even create an account.
$0
Cost estimates
Unlimited, and never billed. Every render shows its price and its maximum before it starts.
Add a plan to render more at the same time
Every plan gets the same render quality and the same prices per render. A plan adds monthly credit and runs more renders at once.

A bigger plan renders the same catalog in less time, for the same bill
When you hit your limit, new renders wait in a queue and start as soon as a running one finishes. Nothing is refused, and a queued render is only charged once it has rendered.
| Catalog | Renders | Cost, any plan | 2 at once | 40 at once |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 60 SKUs × 3 angles, 2K studio | 180 | ~$22 | ~15 min | ~2 min |
| Configurator refresh, 500 variants, 2K | 500 | ~$60 | ~45 min | ~3 min |
| Hero shots, 4K studio | 24 | ~$10 | ~6 min | ~2 min |
If only 30 of the 500 products changed since last night, the other 470 come back from the cache in seconds, for $0.
Assumes ~10 s per 2K studio render and ~30 s per 4K, plus a minute to start up. Your scenes will differ, which is why every render shows its estimate first.
Pay up front and never spend more than you put in
Renders stop when your balance runs out, so you never owe more than you put in. Top up when you need more, and the credit stays yours until you use it.
Where VAT applies, it is added on top of the top-up, so the credit you buy is the credit you get. Paddle is the merchant of record and handles the tax.
- Deposited credit never expires
- A render never costs more than its quoted maximum
- Rendering an unchanged scene again within 30 days is free
- Set a monthly limit in case a bug in your code renders in a loop
Typical costs
| Render | Size | Typical use | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| HD preview | 1024² | Iterating on lighting and framing | ~$0.04 |
| 2K studio | 2048² | Customer downloads, catalog, variants | ~$0.10–$0.15 |
| 4K studio | 4096² | Hero images, print | ~$0.40–$0.60 |
| 4K ultra | 4096² | Glass, car paint, jewelry | ~$3.00–$4.25 |
A product in a furnished room costs more, about $0.47 for a 2K studio image. A room you model yourself is priced the same way as one of ours.
Baking the light into your scene costs twice as much per second of rendering as an image, because the bake ships with your page and every visitor sees it. Baking the same scene again from the same camera within 30 days is free.
| Bake | Lightmaps | Typical use | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| A product on a plinth | 3 objects at 512² | Portfolio scene, product page | ~$0.35–$0.45 |
| A furnished room | 39 objects, up to 2048² | Room with a product in it | ~$5.00–$5.50 |
| A room in one texture | 39 objects, 2048² map | Configurator, one texture to load | ~$1.75–$2.25 |
| That room at high quality | 39 objects, up to 2048² | Hero scene, the cleanest light | ~$13.00–$14.00 |
Every render is estimated first, in code, before anything is spent:
const { estimate } = useBakery3({ token: getToken })
const cost = await estimate({ quality: 'studio', width: 2048, height: 2048 })
// { estimatedCost: 0.12, maximumCost: 0.16, estimatedSeconds: 7 }And the ceiling you set is actually enforced:
await render({ maxCost: 0.14 })
// RenderBudgetExceeded: refused before any GPU work, nothing chargedThe limit is checked against the maximum estimate, not the likely one.
Questions people ask before paying
Does plan credit roll over?
No, it resets at each renewal. Your deposited balance is the pot that never expires, and plan credit is always spent first so nothing you paid to keep is touched before it.
What happens when the included credit runs out?
Renders keep working at standard per-render rates from your deposited balance. There is no throttle and no penalty rate; overage is just the normal price.
Do plans change render quality?
Never. Every plan and pay-as-you-go get the same renderer, the same quality presets and the same per-render prices. A plan adds monthly credit and runs more renders at once.
What happens past my concurrency limit?
Extra renders wait in a queue instead of failing. Up to 50 can wait, for up to 24 hours, and they start oldest first as running ones finish. Cancel a queued render any time and it is never charged.
Can I stay on pay-as-you-go forever?
Yes. Plans are optional. Without one you get the same API, the same renderer and the same prices, with two renders running at once.
Why does a bake cost more than a still?
An image is used once. A bake ships with your page and lights your scene for every visitor for as long as it is up, so it costs twice as much per second of rendering as an image. The table above shows what a room costs to bake.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. Signup comes with $2 of render credit, the compatibility checker runs in your browser without an account, and estimates are always free.
